At the foot of the mountain, in the tourist center of Badacsony, it's hard to miss the renovated modern building of Hableány with its wall to wall glass windows. Hableány has been a restaurant and meeting point since the late 1800s, and it took on a shape similar to today in 1963, when it was renovated for the first time.
Renovated again in 2019, the iconic building reopened as the center of Laposa Estate. Enter the multifunctional space, where there is a bistro, wine bar, wine shop, the most modern winery in the area, and even an exhibition of local and family history. It is a real meeting place in the wine region, a place for joint tastings and events. While tasting the wines of Laposa Birtok and the dishes of Hableány's modern Balaton bistro kitchen which is based on local ingredients, you can also get behind the scenes of the life of the wine cellar. THE LEGEND OF HABLEÁNY
According to the legend, when Badacsony was still a volcano,the lord of the hill fell in love with a mermaid. As he saw the girl from the side of the crag, without thinking, he threw himself into the lake, and the splash extinguished the volcano. Lovers have been watching Badacsony Hill from the lake ever since, at the foot of which the Hableány building preserves their history.
In the special environment, we dreamed of a modern bistro kitchen beside the wines, whereby we would like to create a new genre: the modern Balaton bistro.
Local ingredients, seasonality, freshness - we prepare our dishes for wines along with this motto, adapted to the current situation, now for takeaway!

We are proud that an iconic building has been transformed to include a modern estate centre and technology plant. The design was preceded by careful analysis, lots and lots of experience, domestic and foreign harvesting, all of which continued with the acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment. This is how the outstanding wine centre of the region was established, where a sparkling wine making facility is located, so we can have a toast with a bubbly as well! The 2019 was the first harvest to take place in here. With a direct view of the huge tanks from the guest room, so we immediately get a little closer to winemaking.
We welcome interested groups, individual visitors, professionals, or those who would like to look behind the scenes as part of a factory visit with a tasting.
